About The KinderWorld Group
The KinderWorld Group, founded in 1986 in Singapore believes in offering a combination of Eastern values with an International outlook on education.

In Vietnam, the International arm of KinderWorld operates:
- KinderWorld International Kindergartens (KIK)
- Singapore International Schools (SIS)
- Pegasus International UniCollege (PIU)

KIK provides Pre-school education for children from 18 months to below 6 years. Our curriculum is designed to develop children’s social skills as well as to provide a strong foundation in English Language and Mathematics skills. The curriculum also covers Environmental Awareness, Thinking & Creativity, Computer Knowledge, Personal & Social Awareness and promotes the development of fine and gross motor skills. The Kindergarten programme is a play-based, inquiry - learning programme.

SIS, with links to various schools in Singapore and Australia, offers an International Primary and Secondary Programme which is largely based on criteria set out by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the Eight Key Learning Areas of the Australian Curriculum. SIS collaborates with ChildrenWorld Private School, which offers an Integrated Primary and Junior High School Programme. This Integrated Programme is specially developed for Vietnamese students and combines the best of Vietnam’s education and key learning areas of the International curriculum.

In ensuring the best outcome for students, SIS is committed to continuously ensure the quality of education programmes through International quality assurance and accreditation benchmark standards. Primary students take the iPSLE (International Primary School Examination from Singapore) at the end of the primary level. Secondary students take the Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) in the final secondary school year. Cambridge International AS and A Levels or GAC Programmes will be undertaken in the final year of High School study which provides access to many universities worldwide.

KinderWorld has developed a network of campuses at big cities such as Ho Chi Minh CIty, Hanoi, Binh Duong, Vung Tau, Danang, Nha Trang.

Where is Saigon?

It's not wrong to wonder where in the world Saigon is.

Saigon is the name of the city now officially known as Ho Chi Minh City. But most people who call Saigon home call their home Saigon and it's mostly tourists who I hear refer to it as Ho Chi Minh City (or Ho Chi Minh Ville for the French).

After the Vietnam/American War ended in 1975, many place names ceased to exist such as Saigon, South Vietnam, and plenty of street names.

Tu Do is now Dong Khoi, Thong Nhat is Le Duan. And Tan Son Nhut Airport is now Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Rue Paul Blanchy has been Hai Ba Trung since the 1950s.

Those who haven't seen Vietnam for decades will be confused not just by the geographical changes but the incredible amount of development and modernization that has since taken place.
