Are you in search of things to do with your adorable pet friends? Let us help you with these ideas.

1.WALKING WITH YOUR PETS
What could be more relaxing & peaceful than walking around with your pet friend? Not only it is a healthy option but also a great bonding opportunity where you can take those cute selfies to flood your social pages.
There are a lot of walking places to go to in Ho Chi Minh city but let us recommend you two of the best ones. First is the Crescent Lake near Crescent Mall. Unlike the usual crowded streets of Saigon, the space around this beautiful lake is very wide, fresh, quiet, airy and open for pedestrians only. Perfect for those daily walks.

In addition, Nguyen Hue walking street in district 1 is another splendid place for you and your dog. The city has done a great job in making this street a nice & safe only-for-walkers location where you can fully enjoy your weekend.

2. PARTICIPATE IN PET EVENTS
Check your nearest mall or park or any establishments and they might just have exciting events where you can join. This an ideal venue to meet new friends, other pet lovers and pet enthusiasts and share funny pet related stories together.

Check if there are pet clubs and pet meet ups to choose from. For instance, this Halloween season, a an event called “PETrifying Party” will take place at Crescent Mall, District 7 on October 28 and 29. Several activities are lined up like a pet costume contest, pet park, talks about training, nutrition, grooming and how to be closer with your most loved pets.

3. VISIT PET COFFEE SHOPS
Ever heard of coffee shops before? This is a growing fad. An example is Ichi cat café in District 1, where cats are the stars of the show. Another option is Stardog Café in Phu My Hung, District 7. Here you can find and have some fun with many beautiful dogs from different breeds.

Where is Saigon?

It's not wrong to wonder where in the world Saigon is.

Saigon is the name of the city now officially known as Ho Chi Minh City. But most people who call Saigon home call their home Saigon and it's mostly tourists who I hear refer to it as Ho Chi Minh City (or Ho Chi Minh Ville for the French).

After the Vietnam/American War ended in 1975, many place names ceased to exist such as Saigon, South Vietnam, and plenty of street names.

Tu Do is now Dong Khoi, Thong Nhat is Le Duan. And Tan Son Nhut Airport is now Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Rue Paul Blanchy has been Hai Ba Trung since the 1950s.

Those who haven't seen Vietnam for decades will be confused not just by the geographical changes but the incredible amount of development and modernization that has since taken place.
